The golden lion tamarin is a small primate in the cebidae family found in the coastal tropical forests of eastern, central and southern Brazil. It is easily recognizable by its pretty golden fur and long fingers, ideal for catching the insects they feed on. The latter can measure up to 63 cm long, tail included, and weighs 794 g.
